Sunday Morning

Join us on Sunday mornings as we gather together to worship our God and King – through song, prayer, the preaching of God’s Word, fellowship, and more.  We look forward to seeing you there.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”. - Hebrews 10:24-25

When & Where

10:00 AM
Holiday Inn Ballroom
35 Governor Winthrop Blvd.
New London, CT 06320

What is there for my kids?

We love kids! To start the service, children worship with the whole congregation in song. Then children from 1 year old to 2nd grade are invited to participate in a children's ministry program specially suited to them. Click Here to learn more about check-in, policies, and more.

What is Sunday morning like?

We gather for about an hour and a half where we sing praises to God, pray, hear about what's going on in our church family, and hear a sermon from the Bible.

Where should I park?

The ballroom is in the rear (north side) of the building. You can park behind the hotel and enter the door on your right as you face the building. Or you enter through the front lobby, head towards the back left, and follow signs to the ballroom.

What should I wear?

Most people dress anywhere between casual and business casual, but feel free to wear what you normally wear!

Songs we sing:

At Shoreline, we love to sing! Why? Because God is great and greatly to be praised, and because He has planted in our hearts an eternal song of redemption through Jesus! The majority of the songs that we sing at Shoreline can be found in the Spotify playlist SCBC: The Songs We Sing. Listen (and sing along!) to these songs to worship the Lord on your own and to prepare yourself to worship the Lord with His saints during our Sunday gatherings.

Psalm 96:1–4
[1] Oh sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth!
[2] Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
[3] Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
[4] For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.

1 Peter 2:9–10
[9] But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. [10] Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
