Our Elders

Michael Loosa

Mike hails from the Chicago area, attended Cedarville University in Ohio, and in 2011 moved out to New London for work. While his degree and profession are in engineering, God has, since Mike’s youth, increasingly grown a desire and passion within him to serve in church ministry. This was continually fostered throughout Mike’s life by pastors and leaders who invested their time, energy and care to mentor and train Mike. And more than anyone else, Mike attributes his passion for Jesus Christ to his father, who passed away in 2017, and who exemplified the love and joy of Christ in his daily life. Mike married his wife Brittany in 2014, and they have four children: Adelyn, Jacob, Elliott, and Haddon. The Loosas enjoy traveling and new experiences, and want to see the name of Jesus exalted in worship in Southeastern Connecticut and all over the world.

Andrew Biehl

Andrew is a transplant, like Mike, to Southeastern CT from the Chicago suburbs.  Andrew attended a high school that routinely beat Mike’s high school at most sports (Andrew did not contribute to the victories, but enjoyed them nonetheless).  Eleven years after graduating college, Andrew is surprised to find himself in CT, but can attest that God is writing a much better story than he would have.  He is married to Keren, with whom he currently helps to lead Shoreline Kids.  Together they have three children.  Andrew has enjoyed seeing God at work in the Bible study that became Shoreline and now is a body growing in maturity, and he is excited to see what God has planned for the spread of the gospel in Southeastern CT!  Andrew is an engineer at Electric Boat, and spends his free time splitting firewood.
